Dakota Carrier Network (DCN) has added three members to the Network Operations Center team. All are based out of DCN’s NOC in Bismarck and serve customers throughout the state.

Jeremy Grossman and Anjuli Uran are new Ethernet/IP technicians. In this role, Grossman and Uran support DCN’s state-of-the-art carrier Ethernet and IP networks. Responsibilities include network monitoring and provisioning, trouble analysis, receiving and resolving trouble reports, and administration of equipment.

Grossman has spent the past 12 years working in cybersecurity, most recently at BEK Communications. He earned AAS degrees in electronics/telecoms and computer support specialist from Bismarck State College and a bachelor’s degree in business information technology from Minot State University. He also earned a Certificate of Competence in Zero Trust from the Cloud Security Alliance and is a CrowdStrike Certified Falcon Responder.

Uran came to DCN from Consolidated Telcom in Dickinson where she was an internet technician for nearly seven years. She studied biology and chemistry at Minot State University and earned an AAS in computer networking and cybersecurity from Bismarck State College. She is a Cisco Certified Support Technician and is certified in cybersecurity by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium.

Ryan Neiss has joined DCN as a data reporting analyst. The data reporting analyst monitors systems, maintains data and reporting tools, troubleshoots system and application-related issues, and works with employees, customers, and vendors to ensure reliable network services. Neiss earned a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and statistics from North Dakota State University. He most recently served as a compensation analyst at a power cooperative.
