Karie Mischel has joined Dakota Carrier Network (DCN) as information systems manager based in Bismarck.
As IS manager, Mischel leads the team and all activities related to internal information technology, application development and administration, and cloud services. Additionally, she is responsible for the information systems budget and planning and directing the installation and maintenance of IT hardware and software.
With 30 years of experience managing enterprise infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud services, and network operations, Mischel has led technical teams, managed budgets, overseen hardware and software lifecycles, supported cloud platforms, and directed large-scale IT projects. With experience in consulting, banking, and government, she has extensive expertise in routing, switching, security, compliance, disaster recovery, and cross-functional collaboration.
Mischel holds numerous professional certifications including Cisco Certified Network Associate, Cisco Certified Design Associate, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and CompTIA Network+.
